Laura is an experienced content strategist, specialising in print and digital editorial, digital marketing, and project and product management. After completing her MA in Publishing she worked for a number of high-profile publishers before running the publishing operation for the BBC Proms and BBC Performing Groups, reconfiguring their publishing strategy, relaunching the Proms website and producing the first ever Proms Guide app. Prior to joining Thwaites she was Head of Content and Production at the Open Data Institute, where she reinvigorated their website and digital publishing offer, leading to a raft of new activities by the core team and consistently exceeded reach targets.
She focuses on branding and re-branding projects, and publishing and digital marketing strategies for growing businesses, having most recently undertaken a re-branding project for the Energy Systems Catapult that included a new look and feel, design templates, social media and publishing strategy, and office launch.
