Liane has wide experience of leading communications in the public, private and voluntary sectors, gained over two decades. She has been a strategic communications adviser to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet Office on the digitalisation of public services. She has led integrated campaigns including media relations and crisis communications for the Ministry of Defence during the Iraq and Afghan operations, and for Defra on animal disease outbreaks and climate change.
Liane has directed European public affairs strategy in Brussels for clients including global trade associations and Tesco and was Director of Communications for an international healthcare agency in Africa.
A socially-driven communicator, Liane has won major government and industry improvements in the areas of transport, social care and banking in her time at Which? (the UK’s Consumer Association) and has provided pro bono communications for campaign groups during the Syrian refugee crisis.
